Delhi govt education loan schemes 2019
In a recent event for young meritorious blood of capital education minister Mr. Manish Sisodia urges parents of students to let them study further and not give up on studies due to their socioeconomic hurdles. Sisodia was addressing students who have scored more than 90% in their XII board examination. He also ensures that if any of the students are facing any economic issue he can directly meet the minister to get benefitted under various schemes.
Delhi Govt Skill Development Guarantee Scheme
The main focus of the seminar was on two of the major scheme launched by his govt in the sector of education. He tried drawing the attention of parents as well as students firstly on Higher Education and Skill Development Guarantee Scheme which allows the student to avail an educational loan of up to 10 lack rupees for further education in Delhi constituency. Secondly, he talks about the scholarship which will be provided to the students who are economical weaker but wants to pursue further degree courses under the Delhi government institutes like GGS Indraprastha University, Ambedkar University, and Delhi Technological University. Special provision will be given to students who want to carry with various skill development and technical courses. Over thousands of students were present in the ceremonial function that was done to facilitate the students after the board results.
Highlights of Delhi Govt Skill Development
He further revealed that the gross yearly income for the family to avail 25% wave of the fees under the scheme should be between 2.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs, whereas to the students of families with annual income summing up to only 1 lakhs will be given a benefit of 50% rebate in the fees. And for the section whose income is not even 1 lakhs per year 100% scholarship will be given
After the students paying their concern to the increased fee structure in the schools as well the higher educational institutes, he promised that the Delhi government will bear the CBSE registration the fee of RS 1500 from now onwards. During the interactive session, he also mentioned some of the ideas which will work as useful tips to the student to guide up their future after the senior secondary board examination. He emphasized the importance of a good education system within society.
Manish Sisodia words on working for education
Mr. Sisodia further adds up that the government is working out to arrange extra-curricular activities as well as academic coaches in the government schools. He said” there has been a discussion by the government about some initiative to be taken at the levels of the schools by the principals themselves but says that it may take one or two years to completely shape up the idea. Now he has promised to provide arrangements and coaches for pre-predatory engineering and a medical entrance like NEET and JEE in schools itself. Both education minister Mr. Manish Sisodiya and chief minister Arvind Kejriwal did not miss out the chance to speak about the efforts of Govt in making the education sector grow and hard working to bring in the required changes. and private schools where rich go to private school and the poor go to Govt School. He said he felt immensely proud while announcing that this difference is decreasing with a pass percentage of 94.5% in govt schools. The results are better than private schools which clearly shows that the working module of such schools are not the same as they used to be a few years back said Kejriwal.
