Amid a massive surge in COVID-19 cases, keeping in mind the security of pupils and teachers, many states, including Chhattisgarh, Punjab and Maharashtra, have stalled Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. While pupils, parents, among others, are asking the Centre to postpone the CBSE classes 10 and 12 Board exams scheduled to start in May, many states such as Delhi, Maharashtra, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh have postponed the state board exams.

Maharashtra Board Exam Postponed
Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced exam postponed due to covid-19 situation. She said “Keeping in mind the schedule of entrance exams for professional courses, Class 12th exams will be held by end of May, while 10th standard exams will be in June. We’re closely monitoring the health situation. Fresh dates for these exams will be announced accordingly.”

Chhattisgarh : CGBSE Board Exam Postponed
